Position Title: Software Development Engineer 3
Location: Remote (overnight position)
Anticipated Start Date: ASAP

Expected Duration: Contract of 12 Months and possible of extension
Job Type: Contract and Remote
Pay Range: $48 - $52/hr. on w2

Job Description:
The person will be responsible for supporting, troubleshooting, and improving the building pipelines for game projects to ensure stability. They will also create and monitor alerts based on observability data from the pipelines. Specifically, this role will be overnight to ensure support for our global partners
Responsibilities:
- Execute day-to-day tasks to support the operations of the CI/CD pipelines of AAA games using Jenkins, Azure DevOps, and Perforce of Routine maintenance such as updating auth tokens for services
- Triage and resolving external partner issues
- Mitigate issues blocking automation tasks from succeeding
- Monitor and create alerts based on data from the build system
- Drive data-backed improvements by identifying areas of improvement and recommend changes to Monitor and analyze metrics, traces, and logs across all CI/CD systems
- Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and postmortems of Combine history and upcoming needs to ensure CI/CD capacity
- Design and implement scripts or similar automation to streamline operations
Minimum Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working hands-on in DevOps or CI/CD tools, like Jenkins.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience designing, implementing, and editing scripts to streamline manual operations using languages like PowerShell or Python in a medium or large-scale codebase.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience implementing data solutions to measure and monitor KPIs in technologies like SQL or Azure Data Lake.
- Experience using data and observability solutions to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for CI/CD infrastructure.
- Experience with Perforce source control system
- Knowledge of software development is best practices, including agile methodologies and continuous integration and deployment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to conduct root cause analysis of critical problems.
- Outstanding communication and writing skills, including ability to ask questions or share information with clarity and brevity in a team-oriented environment.
- Experience with Jira work item tracking.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Nice to Haves:
- Experience working with Unreal Engine
- Familiarity with Azure or other cloud environments
- C++ and/or C# proficiency
