Job Details

Application Development Lead (a/k/a Software Engineering & Development) ( State Street Bank and Trust Company; Boston, MA ): Serves as senior lead across multiple front office project and data delivery initiatives, working on new technologies and innovative solutions for the business. Analyzes, designs, develops software applications to support Company. Controls and/or provides solutions to single and/or multiple organizations, with minimal management guidance. Provides technical expertise in analyzing, designing, estimating, and developing software applications to project schedule. Provides technical subject matter expertise in reviewing, analyzing, and resolving complex issues. Responsible for resolution, communication, and escalation of critical technical issues. Prepares user and systems documentation as needed. Identifies and recommends Industry best practices. Manages other more junior application developers.

Minimum requirements: Bachelor's degree or equivalent degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related technical field; and 7 years of experience as an Application Developer or in another occupation/title providing related experience.

Must have: Proven ability to work in a team of agile developers and ability to provide agile status notes on day-to-day project tasks; proven experience working on complex deadline driven projects with minimal supervision; proven ability to design/develop with minimum requirements by effectively coordinating activities between business analysts, scrum leads, developers and managers; strong hands-on experience in Java, HTML, JSON, Microservices, PL/SQL; solid ability with messaging technologies such as Kafka and MQ; demonstrated end-to-end understanding of software architecture, design, development and implementation; proven experience with continuous integration and build process, test automation and deployment; strong written and verbal communication skills; and experience writing, reviewing technology documents including user guides.

Salary Range:
$157,643 - $210,000 Annual
