Job Duties: Perform software development across the technology stack, with an emphasis on front end and cloud microservices. Support the design of the overall architecture of a specific software product or application, applying principles that promote availability, reusability, interoperability, and security into the design framework. Perform development, testing, optimization, and automation activities to support the implementation of a software product or application. Deliver high quality and scalable solutions utilizing engineering best practices. Participate in scrum ceremonies (sprint planning, retrospective, showcases or demos, stand-ups, and backlog refinement). Create and execute unit tests which validate the code changes made to support the implementation of a user story. Use test driven development (TDD) practices to assist with the detection/recognition of software defects early in the development process. Deliver automation scripts and unit test automation under DevSecOps. Telecommuting permitted up to 3 days per week from within commuting distance of Issaquah, WA; Dallas, TX; or Schaumburg, IL.
Minimum requirements: Bachelor's or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Plus one year of experience in:
Backend development using Java, Spring Boot, SQL, and NoSQL;
Front end development using ReactJs, NodeJs, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS;
Developing cloud services using Cloud Technologies;
Unit testing using Junit and React testing library, and performance testing using JMeter;
Utilizing observability tools to monitor applications such as Splunk; and
Software development practices using CI/CD, GIT, and Maven.
Alternative requirements: Three years of experience in:
Backend development using Java, Spring Boot, SQL, and NoSQL;
Front end development using ReactJs, NodeJs, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS;
Developing cloud services using Cloud Technologies;
Unit testing using Junit and React testing library, and performance testing using JMeter;
Utilizing observability tools to monitor applications such as Splunk; and
Software development practices using CI/CD, GIT, and Maven.
MUST HAVE PROOF OF LEGAL AUTHORITY TO WORK IN THE UNITED STATES.

SALARY RANGE: $149,240 - $225,000.
Compensation package includes benefits and bonuses.
