Position Title: Web Security Engineer
Location: Santa Clara, CA/Orange County, CA/Los Angeles, CA

Responsibilities
- Implement secure coding practices throughout the software development lifecycle to protect against vulnerabilities and threats, following guidelines such as the OWASP Top 10.
- Provide training and support to the rest of the marketing team on website management and content updates.
- Develop and maintain websites, ensuring they are secure, responsive, and optimized for search engines.
- Regular attendance during business hours and reliable punctuality are essential functions of this position, and conformance with Client s attendance policy is a key responsibility of the employee.
- Integrate third-party tools and services (e.g., lead capture forms, analytics, email marketing platforms) into the marketing websites.
- Collaborate with the rest of the marketing team to understand requirements and translate them into effective website functionalities.
- Collaborate with other teams to perform security audits, code reviews, and testing to identify and mitigate potential vulnerabilities.
- Complete other related duties as assigned and support the Company s strategic initiatives.
- Works closely with Chief Marketing Officer, VP of Marketing Digital Automation, and Web Designer to build and update websites for all product divisions and programs of Client.
Requirements:
- Bachelor s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
- Willingness to adapt to changing business needs and deadlines, including extended work hours.
- Exhibit a professional, business-like appearance and demeanor.
- Proven experience in developing and maintaining WordPress websites, with a strong understanding of WordPress themes, plugins, and customizations.
- Certification or training in web security (e.g., OWASP, SANS, or CompTIA Security+).
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and deployment processes.
- Knowledge of search engine optimization (SEO) and web analytics tools.
- Familiarity with cloud hosting platforms and content delivery networks (CDNs).
