The Opportunity:

When a user tries new sof tware, they expect it to be intuitive and run smoothly. Functionality, reliability, and user experience are key to successful sof tware development-and that means rigorous testing. That's why we need you, an experienced test engineer who knows how to thoroughly test sof tware and work with developers to make sure our team releases the best sof tware possible.

As a test engineer on our team, you'll use your experience to work with testers, developers, and engineers to evaluate developed sof tware. You'll create a test plan with test cases based on user stories. Using automation to streamline, and automated and manual processes, you'll generate data and implement the test cases to observe how the sof tware performs, then document the results and communicate defects to the development team so they can start improving the tool.

You'll automate continuous security and performance testing. This is an opportunity to supercharge your skills by writing the code to test. You Have:

• 3+ years of experience designing, modifying, developing, writing, and executing sof tware testing for full-stack applications using Agile methods
• 2+ years of experience with automated testing tools and methodologies for sof tware testing and maintenance
• Experience with extreme programming, product management, and sof tware products
• TS / SCI clearance
• Bachelor's degree in CS or an IT field and 2+ years of experience in sof tware testing or sof tware engineering, or 6+ years of experience in sof tware testing or sof tware engineering in lieu of a degree

Nice If You Have:

• Experience acquiring client requirements and resolving workflow problems through automation optimization
• Experience in sof tware development with basic programming languages, technologies, tools, or web development stacks

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
