Location: Boston, MA (Hybrid)
Duration: 12+ Months (with potential for extension)
Work Hours: 37.5 hours/week (Monday-Friday, 8:45 AM - 5:00 PM EST)
About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Salesforce Business Analyst to join a dynamic application development team supporting modernization initiatives for immigrant information systems. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with strong Salesforce and Jira experience, excellent analytical skills, and a passion for improving public services through technology.

Responsibilities
  • Analyze complex business processes and translate them into system requirements and solutions.
  • Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams.
  • Document business and functional requirements using standard templates and methodologies.
  • Conduct integration testing and develop test scenarios based on user stories.
  • Provide Level II production support and manage change requests.
  • Deliver end-user training and support adoption of new features.
  • Perform QA functions and coordinate with system integrators during SIT and UAT phases.
  • Lead a team of analysts in the development and enhancement of business systems.
  • Create and manage Jira tickets and generate standard reports.
  • Resolve low to medium complexity Salesforce tickets and perform basic admin configurations.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of experience in business analysis or IT project management.
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce and Jira.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Visio, and Teams.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Salesforce System Administrator certification or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with large-scale immigrant information systems.
  • PMP, IIBA, or ABAC certification.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to document findings and recommend solutions.
