Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking a Mid-Level or Senior Systems Design Analyst to support our Lean Systems Integration Management (LSIM) team under the Systems Engineering & Integration (SE&I) Organization in Everett, WA.

LSIM is a Boeing proprietary critical chain solution, and this Systems Design Analyst is responsible for partnering with BCA programs and organizations to develop and implement cross-functional integration models for the airplane lifecycle. This will include coordination with management and technical experts, scenario planning and risk analysis, and managing multiple models and scenarios in parallel. The role will also require collaborating with the LSIM tool development team to identify, mitigate, and resolve software defects and enhancements.

The ideal candidate will thrive in a collaborative team environment, seek out and provide clarity in ambiguous situations, and is comfortable in various technical engagements. Must be a deep generalist with a broad understanding of airplane/vehicle-level architecture, systems integration, design, manufacturing, test, and verification, including significant expertise in at least one area, and knowledge of key deliverables and their relationships.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Apply LSIM critical chain principles of modeling data deliverables to construct integration models that include cross-functional interactions throughout the product lifecycle
  • Researches, analyzes, and compiles technical data for company products and system-level concepts in the projected operational environments to optimize effectiveness
  • Partner with LSIM tool developers to identify and resolve defects and enhancements
  • Lead model reviews with subject matter experts and incorporate insights back into models
  • Help develop and execute a change management process for integration model updates

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • A history of successful leadership in project management
  • Effective communication, organization and team-oriented skills

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • Knowledge of design convergence and flight test
  • Critical chain capabilities, its application, and experience with implementation
  • Experience with Sciforma

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range Mid-Level: $98,600- $133,400

Summary pay range Senior: $121,550 - $164,450
