Job Title: Senior Backend Developer
Location: Washington, DC (Remote)
Type: Contract
About the Role:
We re seeking a hands-on Java backend developer (5-8 yrs experience) to design, build, and maintain APIs and integrations for identity/security systems. Experience with IBM ISIM, SailPoint, or similar tools is a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain REST/SOAP APIs and integrations for IBM Security Verify Governance Suite (ISIM/ISAM).
- Support existing services and build new security system integrations.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high-performance solutions.
- Occasionally work with SSO and OIDC token-based authentication.
Requirements:
- 5-8 years of Java backend development experience.
- Strong experience with APIs, automation, and enterprise systems.
- Familiarity with identity lifecycle management tools preferred.
- No front-end development required.
- Bachelor s in CS/IT or equivalent experience.
