Job Title: Photonics Packaging Engineer Silicon Photonics
Location: Sunnyvale, CA - Onsite |Full-Time/Direct Hire

Were building something big in Silicon Photonicsand were looking for a Photonics Packaging Engineer whos excited to get hands-on with fiber-optic components and help us scale from prototype to production.

Youll play a key role in designing, testing, and refining optical sub-assemblies that power our next-gen products. If youre passionate about precision, love solving hard problems, and enjoy working cross-functionallywed love to meet you.

What Youll Do:

  • Design and build fiber-optic and integrated optics components (bonus if youve worked with multi-fiber connectors)

  • Lead reliability testing and qualification efforts

  • Collaborate with a team of engineers, vendors, and manufacturing partners

  • Use tools like Zemax, SolidWorks, and JMP to bring your designs to life

What You Bring:

  • Masters in Engineering or Physics

  • 7+ years in photonics, optics, or related fields

  • A knack for solving complex hardware challenges and working across disciplines
