Job Description

Torch Technologies is seeking a highly motivated RF M&S Technology Manager with experience in RF modeling and T&E.

Responsibilities:
  • Support the Science and Technology (S&T) community in the development of advanced RF technologies for test and evaluation infrastructure.
  • Assist in identifying, developing and implementing technology investment ideas to mitigate capability gaps for radar and RF signature simulators and emulators, including definitions of scope of work, budget, schedule and risk to further technologies.
  • Assist in the technical management of multiple technology M&S investments to support RF simulation and emulation in support of T&E use cases.
  • Assist in generating RF system and subsystem requirements based on a thorough understanding of complex technical aspects of current and emerging threats, overarching warfighter requirements, capability trade studies, and emerging technologies.
  • Support the development of RF M&S tools and simulation integration to support joint operational pictures and evaluate joint integration events.
  • Support the design, development, installation, implementation, and operation of joint C2 systems to support RF and operational analysis

Job Requirements

  • Master's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering specializing in Radio Frequency or equivalent experience.
  • 10 or more years applicable progressively complex engineering experience.
  • Must be willing to support geographically dispersed activities and be willing to travel up to 20% of the time.
  • Position requires candidates possess a current TOP SECRET/SCI security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Strong RF background with experience in electronic weapons and electronic attack
  • Strong M&S background with experience in high fidelity model development, evaluation, and integration - and distributed many on many low fidelity simulations with experience in TTPs and operations
  • Strong Test and Evaluation experience in the design, development, integration, and execution of specialized T&E equipment to support various levels of injection or emulation.
  • Experience with distributed M&S frameworks including HLA and TINA and joint M&S environments such as JSAF and OneSAF
  • Good understanding of air and ground threat systems and their performance.
  • Able to think deeply and deliberately on methods to harness new or existing technologies.
  • Able to work well with others in a small high performing team environment.
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
