Description
The Desktop Engineer Level 2 will provide advanced desktop support in a Windows environment, ensuring stellar customer service and efficient resolution of technical issues for approximately 500 internal users. This role involves new employee orientation, direct interaction with VIPs including C-Suite, and collaboration with external vendors.
Key Responsibilities:
Windows Environment Management:
- Administer Intune and Active Directory (AD) for appropriate groups.
- Ensure all devices are managed through Intune, with rare exceptions.
Customer Service:
- Provide backup white glove support to VIPs (e.g., CEO Barry Biffle, President Jimmy Dempsey, Chief Legal Counsel Howard Diamond).
- Balance immediate demands with realistic expectations.
- Deliver difficult news tactfully and professionally.
New Employee Orientation (NEO):
- Conduct IT component of HR-led NEO sessions every other Monday.
- Distribute laptops and equipment, assist with multi-factor authentication (MFA) setup, and reset passwords.
- Provide ongoing support during lab hours that day.
General Desktop Support:
- Address basic desktop issues (missing, broken devices).
- Support only company-provided equipment, not personal devices.
Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with a small team of 3.
- Participate in training and development opportunities.
Time Management:
- Adhere to an 8am-5pm schedule, with rare exceptions for early meetings.
- Manage incidents and departmental priorities effectively.
Qualifications:
Experience with Intune and Active Directory.
Strong customer service skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Denver, CO.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $34.00/hr.
