Job Title: Support Analyst I
Length: 12 month w2 contract
Location: Fully Remote, local candidates to Charlotte, NC preferred
Schedule/Hours: Night shift, 12 hour shifts
Pay Range: $25.00-30.00/hr

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled individual to join our team as a Support Analyst I. This role is ideal for early career candidates, including recent college graduates, who are eager to develop their skills in IT support and infrastructure management.

Shift Schedule

This position requires working night shifts from 6pm to 6am, 3-4 days per week. The role is fully remote, but candidates local to our area are encouraged to apply.

Top Skills

  • Basic infrastructure experience/skills
  • Windows server experience; Linux experience highly preferred
  • Predictive and proactive monitoring, issue resolution, and improved reliability of Data Center Infrastructure and business-critical applications
  • Support for workstations, servers, storage, and a variety of software across IT
  • Tier 2 monitoring and support for Enterprise Infrastructure environments (Client Server, Windows, Linux, Storage, Citrix, IIS, Web/Middleware) and Enterprise Batch Level Support (UAC or other monitoring platforms)

Responsibilities

  • Provide proactive and predictive monitoring, support, and problem resolution of all data center infrastructure and software environments, storage, printing, networking, and batch environments
  • Setup/modify, monitor, and track the client server production batch job flows
  • Perform server reboots or system restarts (IPL) as needed
  • Provide support internally for any technical issues requiring escalation
  • Participate on project teams to provide support and consultation as needed
  • Assist with monthly patch deployments
  • Participate in ongoing cross-training of technical and process knowledge
  • Review and complete incident, work order, e-Form, and other IT infrastructure related requests
  • Lead and participate in major incidents and disaster recovery exercises
  • Assist in determining, planning, and implementing necessary changes to the IT infrastructure as needed
  • Develop and promote standard processes and procedures
  • Identify and implement automation opportunities

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
  • 1-year related work experience
  • In lieu of a bachelor's degree, a High School/GED and 3 years of related work experience

  • Storage Area Network Infrastructure
