RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Raleigh, NC that is seeking a JavaScript Senior Consultant. This role is primarily remote with 5 onsite visits to NOVA (Northern Virginia).
Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled JavaScript Senior Consultant to support a multi-phase project focused on front-end development and broader application architecture. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in UI development and strong overall programming capabilities to help drive both immediate deliverables and long-term transformation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead UI development efforts with a focus on performance, responsiveness, and user experience
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable front-end solutions
* Contribute to architectural decisions and integrate UI components with backend services
* Participate in code reviews, testing, and optimization of application workflows
* Support project continuity across both Phase 1 and Phase 2
REQUIREMENTS:
* Experience with modern frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js
* Experience with design systems and component libraries
* Experience with RESTful APIs and asynchronous programming
* Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
* Advanced proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3
* Strong understanding of responsive design and accessibility standards
* Familiarity with UI testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Cypress)
* Familiarity with Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)
* Solid understanding of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies
* Version control using Git
* Exposure to backend technologies (Node.js, Python, etc.)
* Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
