Job Details

VDart Group is seeking a seasoned Cloud Operations Architect (AWS) to lead and optimize cloud infrastructure operations within a highly regulated enterprise environment. This role demands deep AWS technical expertise, strong automation capabilities, and proven leadership in building resilient, secure, and high-performing cloud ecosystems.

You ll play a key role in driving operational excellence, ensuring stability, and mentoring teams while delivering scalable cloud solutions aligned with best practices and compliance standards.

Location: Rockville, MD (Onsite from Day 1)
Duration: Long-Term Contract

Technical Requirements

 

  • Expert-level AWS skills: Kubernetes (EKS), EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, Lambda, RDS, etc.
  • Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible
  • Advanced understanding of monitoring & logging with CloudWatch
  • Strong grasp of cloud networking, compute, and storage concepts
  • Experience in incident management, root cause analysis, and performance optimization
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure in a mission-critical, regulated environment
