Job Details
We are seeking a skilled and experienced AWS GovCloud Administrator with a strong background in AWS GovCloud. This role requires the candidate to have solid experience in designing and securing cloud-based infrastructure, along with hands-on expertise in integrating third-party systems, automating processes, and ensuring compliance with security standards.
Basic Skills
- 5-6 years of experience with AWS, with a mandatory experience of 1- 2 years in AWS GovCloud administration and support.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, Lambda, RDS, and CloudFormation.
- Hands on experience with Glue/Glue ETL, ECS, EMR Serverless, BedRock, AWS Organizations, Control Tower, Security Hub,Logging & Alerting, Landing Zone accelerator, DynamoDB, KMS
- Familiarity with AWS security best practices and services such as KMS, Secrets Manager, and AWS Security Hub.
- Basic knowledge of networking in AWS, including VPC, VPN, and Direct Connect.
- Experience with monitoring tools like AWS CloudWatch and CloudTrail to maintain operational health.
- Understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as CloudFormation or Terraform.
- Knowledge of AWS compliance standards such as FedRAMP and other government regulations for the GovCloud region.
- Experience in troubleshooting and resolving issues in a cloud environment.
- Familiarity with AWS billing, cost optimization, and resource management.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement secure, scalable cloud architectures using AWS GovCloud solutions.
- Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to automate and deploy cloud resources, including tools such as CloudFormation and Terraform.
- Implement IAM Identity Center for identity and access management across the cloud environment.
- Integrate third-party tools, including ServiceNow, for cloud operations and service management.
- Develop and manage ETL pipelines using AWS Glue and Glue ETL.
- Create and manage cloud infrastructures using AWS ECS, Lambda, API Gateway, and other related services.
- Support and manage AWS EMR Serverless for big data processing and analytics.
- Work with AWS BedRock to implement AI and ML solutions in the cloud.
- Implement AWS Organizations, Control Tower, and Landing Zone Accelerator for centralized governance and resource management.
- Configure and manage AWS Security Hub to monitor, detect, and respond to security threats.
- Set up logging, monitoring, and alerting systems for cloud services.
- Manage the AWS Direct Connect and VPN configurations for secure cloud network connectivity.
- Configure and manage S3 storage solutions, ensuring secure access and compliance with internal and external regulations.
- Administer AWS Secrets Manager and KMS (Key Management Service) for secure handling of sensitive data.
- Troubleshoot and optimize cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability, scalability, and performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure secure deployment of solutions.
