Job Details




A leading financial services company based in Atlanta, GA is seeking an experienced ETL Lead (Snowflake/Talend) Consultant to oversee the design, development, and implementation of enterprise-level data integration solutions. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical leadership, hands-on ETL development experience, and a deep understanding of data management and governance principles.


Responsibilities:




  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of ETL processes using Talend and Snowflake.




  • Mentor and guide ETL developers, promoting best practices in data engineering and ETL development.




  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.




  • Prepare and deliver project status reports, ensuring effective communication with stakeholders and leadership.




  • Collaborate with solution designers to understand system design and develop corresponding ETL workflows




  • Perform independent testing, provide support during SIT and UAT phases, and assist in defect triage and resolution




  • Troubleshoot and resolve production ETL issues, ensuring data integrity and system stability




  • Develop and manage production deployment plans, including runbooks and approval processes




  • Optimize ETL performance through SQL tuning and toolset enhancements




  • Integrate ETL pipelines with CI/CD frameworks to streamline deployment processes




  • Oversee migration of ETL processes across environments and manage production deployments




  • Collaborate with job orchestration teams to ensure efficient scheduling and execution of ETL workflows




  • Integrate ETL workflows with data governance tools such as Alation, Manta, and PKWare/Cyera




Qualifications:




  • 5+ years of experience in ETL development and Data Integration




  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems and/or a related field







  • SnowPro Core certification







  • Proven expertise with Talend and Snowflake




  • Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and ETL performance tuning




  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation




  • Working knowledge of data governance frameworks and tools




  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills
