Job Title: Epic Hospital Billing / Hospital Billing Claims Consultant

Location: Remote

Duration: 3 Months Contract

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Epic Hospital Billing / Hospital Billing Claims Consultant to provide short-term support for backlog management and FTE coverage due to a team member's unavailability. This consultant will play a critical role in resolving day-to-day support tickets and collaborating with operational stakeholders to prioritize and manage workload efficiently.

Responsibilities:

Resolve day-to-day Epic HB/Claims support tickets.

Collaborate with hospital billing and claims teams to triage and address issues.

Prioritize and manage support workload with operational owners.

Mentor and guide Health IT (HIT) support staff on complex billing issues.

Support billing operations including Statements, DNBs, and Client Billing.

Coordinate with Correctional Health and 3rd party clearinghouse (Experian).

Analyze and resolve complex claims logic and processing issues.

Requirements:

Epic Hospital Billing Certification (required)

Epic Hospital Billing Claims Certification (required)

Qualifications:

Minimum 3 years of production support experience in an Epic Hospital Billing environment.

Strong understanding of hospital billing workflows, claims management, and support operations.

Preferred Skills:

Hands-on experience with Statements, DNBs, Client Billing, and Correctional Health.

Ability to assess and troubleshoot complex claims logic.

Experience working with 3rd-party clearinghouses such as Experian.
