Scrum Master/SAFe/AWS; NC.GA.AZ

Genesis10 is currently seeking an Agile Scrum Master with our client in the financial industry located in Charlotte, NC, Chandler, AZ and Kennesaw, GA. This is a 12+ month contract position.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and oversee the delivery of systems or cloud platforms as a product within the organization
• Guide and coach team/s on agile practices
• Facilitate agile ceremonies (for example, Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Backlog Refinement, Sprint Demos/Reviews, and Sprint Retrospectives)
• Facilitate scaled planning for the team (for example, Pre-Planning/ Preparation and PI Planning Events) and represent the team in Scrum of Scrums/ART Syncs
• Help the team define norms/agreements, like a Definition of Ready and Definition of Done, and enforce the agreements
• Ensure the team has a healthy product and Sprint backlog (in collaboration with the Product Owner)
• Facilitate dependency management/risk management/impediment removal for the team
• Promote/facilitate communication and collaboration within the Agile team to support value delivery and Sprint commitments
• Provide visibility into the Agile team's delivery plans and progress against plan to stakeholders
• Measure team delivery, maturity, and performance and review the metrics with the team to identify improvement opportunities

Requirements:

• 5+ year's hands on practical scrum master experience (not just training)
• Experience with Scrum and Kanban teams
• Experience in a Scaled Agile Environment (Experience with Program Increment Planning)
• Strong JIRA and Confluence experience
• Strong Communication skills / Strong relationship management skills
• Demonstrated ability to drive results
• Technical development experience strongly desired (Software or Infrastructure) need to be able to relate and understand engineers
• Large financial institution / regulated environment
• Scrum Master Certification | SAFe Agile certifications
• Experience in a public cloud environment, Azure Amazon Web Services (AWS) fundamentals
• Demonstrated team level agile coaching skills

Pay range: $63.94 - $71.94
