About the Role

An expanding technology services firm is seeking a talented ServiceNow Developer or Engineer with deep CMDB expertise to join their growing enterprise solutions team.

This hybrid role, based in Chandler, AZ, involves occasional in-person client meetings and close collaboration with solution architects and delivery teams. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with CMDB architecture, ServiceNow platform development, and system integrations, and will play a key role in implementing scalable, efficient solutions that enhance IT operations and asset visibility.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and configure CMDB-related functionality within the ServiceNow platform.

  • Implement ServiceNow Discovery and Service Mapping to improve CI data accuracy and visibility.

  • Build and maintain integration workflows using REST, SOAP, and JDBC protocols.

  • Develop identification and reconciliation rules, CI relationship models, and MID Server configurations.

  • Collaborate across ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, and SAM modules to ensure data consistency and system integration.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve CMDB, Discovery, and integration-related issues.

  • Support platform upgrades, maintenance activities, and agile ceremonies (sprint planning, retrospectives, etc.).

  • Prepare technical documentation, design artifacts, and configuration guides.


Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience as a ServiceNow Developer or Engineer.

  • Strong expertise in CMDB architecture, Discovery patterns, and CI relationships.

  • Proficiency in JavaScript, Glide APIs, and Flow Designer.

  • Experience with at least one major ServiceNow module: ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, or SAM.

  • Solid understanding of integration protocols (REST, SOAP, JDBC).

  • Ability to produce clear technical documentation and collaborate in cross-functional environments.


Preferred Qualifications

  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) or Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) certification.

  • Experience in multi-instance ServiceNow environments or enterprise-scale CMDB deployments.

  • Familiarity with automation, orchestration, and data governance practices.
