Job Title: Java Solution Architect
Location: Irving, TX 3 Days Onsite

We are seeking a seasoned Java Solution Architect with over 15 years of experience to join our team in Irving, TX (hybrid model 3 days onsite). The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of Java-based solutions, distributed systems, API development, and large-scale enterprise applications. Experience in the telecom domain and with tools like Cassandra, Pega, and Project Management is highly preferred.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and architect end-to-end solutions using Java technologies, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.

  • Lead API design and development efforts, with a focus on microservices architecture.

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate Pega-based systems and workflows.

  • Collaborate with database teams to optimize and manage Cassandra data models for high availability and performance.

  • Drive project planning, estimations, and execution in alignment with business goals.

  • Serve as a key technical liaison between business and engineering teams within the telecom domain.

  • Provide mentorship and guidance to development teams, ensuring adherence to best practices and architectural standards.

  • Manage architectural risks and propose mitigation strategies.


Required Skills & Experience:

  • 15+ years of experience in Java/J2EE development and architecture.

  • Strong hands-on experience in API development and RESTful services.

  • Solid experience with Cassandra or other NoSQL databases.

  • Exposure to Pega BPM platform is highly desirable.

  • Proven track record in Project Management within agile and waterfall models.

  • Strong background in the Telecommunications domain is a must.

  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
