Description
We are looking for a skilled Desktop Support Analyst to join our team on a contract basis in Poughkeepsie, New York. In this role, you will provide hands-on technical support to ensure the smooth operation of hardware, software, and network systems. You will play a key part in diagnosing and resolving technical issues while delivering exceptional service to end-users.
Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive technical support for desktops, laptops, and mobile devices, including Apple and Android platforms.
Troubleshoot hardware and software issues across Dell and other computer systems.
Manage configurations and ensure system compatibility for Windows 10 environments.
Administer Active Directory for user account management and access control.
Perform backup and recovery operations to safeguard data integrity.
Support Cisco and Citrix technologies to maintain network and application stability.
Collaborate with team members to implement configuration management solutions.
Deliver timely and detail-oriented assistance to end-users, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
Maintain accurate documentation of technical procedures and resolutions.
Stay updated on emerging technologies to continuously improve support services.
Requirements
Proven experience in desktop support or a related technical role.
Expertise in Android development and Apple device management.
Strong knowledge of computer hardware, including Dell systems.
Familiarity with Cisco and Citrix technologies for network and application support.
Proficiency in Windows 10 and Active Directory administration.
Hands-on experience with backup and configuration management tools.
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
Strong communication skills to effectively assist end-users and collaborate with team members.
