Job Details

A leading provider of software solutions for real estate closing and title insurance is seeking a Sr. Quality Engineer to join its Custom Development Team. This team focuses on building tools and integrations that enhance communication, workflow, and processing for professionals in the residential and commercial real estate industry. The position can be 100% remote or hybrid for candidates located near the company s headquarters in North Carolina, with the expectation to work East Coast hours.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with architects and business partners to define Agile user stories

  • Create test plans and understand functional and non-functional requirements

  • Design and develop automated tests for new features and enhancements

  • Troubleshoot production issues and maintain test automation suites

  • Create and execute integration tests to validate system behavior

  • Work with the release management team to configure test pipelines

  • Employ tools and best practices to improve team efficiency

  • Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and requirement meetings

  • Report and track defects and follow up on resolutions

  • Maintain detailed test documentation and artifacts

  • Collaborate effectively with both local and remote team members


Required Skills & Experience

  • Object-Oriented programming experience in C#

  • Proficiency with Playwright, Cypress, and other UI automation frameworks

  • Experience using Visual Studio 2015 or later

  • Familiarity with Git, Postman, xUnit

  • Strong working knowledge of XML and JSON

  • Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps and Agile methodologies

  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

  • Self-motivated and quick to grasp complex systems

  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent work experience

  • 3 5 years of test automation experience
