Job Title: Sr Developer - AEFW3 Modernization
Location: 100% remote
Type: Contract to Hire
You will be working on Migrating from Java 3.0.5 to Springboot 3.5.5.
This is not a Developer role. We need a thought leader who needs to consult with the customer to tell them what is right and what is wrong. Must have in-depth knowledge of Java Cloud frameworks + Mongo DB, with Kafka

Sr Developer - AEFW3 Modernization Consultant

Skills/Competencies/JD:

Java Spring framework to do migration from Java 3.0.5 to SpringBoot 3X, Kafka ,Azure, MongoDB, Redis.

Extensive experience with Spring Framework, particularly with legacy versions like 3.0.5, and deep understanding of its core concepts (IoC, DI, AOP).

Proven experience in migrating applications from older Spring Framework versions to Spring Boot.

Strong proficiency in Java, with experience in Java 17 or higher.

Solid understanding of Spring Boot principles, including starters, auto-configuration, embedded servers, and externalized configuration.

Experience with build tools such as Maven.

Familiarity with database technologies (e.g., SQL, JPA, Hibernate) and Spring Data.

Experience with web technologies and frameworks, including Spring MVC and RESTful API development.

Understanding of security concepts and experience with Spring Security.

Experience with version control systems (e.g., GitHub).

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform). Strong preference for Azure experience.

Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). Experience with OpenShift a strong plus.

Experience with CI/CD pipelines.

Master in microservices architecture and development
