We are seeking an experienced Global Network Operations Transport NCC Tier II Technician -Denver, CO (On-site) with deep expertise in Multi-Cloud Landing Zone to lead and deliver end-to-end enterprise transformation. You ll be working directly with client stakeholders to guide them through requirements, configuration, integration, and post-go-live support.

Position Description:

The Tier II Technician will serve as an advanced technical resource within the Transport Network Control Center (NCC). The role involves handling escalated network issues, supporting Tier I technicians, and collaborating with field and vendor teams to resolve complex network impairments and outages. Additionally, Tier II technicians will actively contribute to network optimization and maintenance efforts.

Core Duties and Responsibilities

Advanced Troubleshooting and Fault Isolation:

  • Handle escalated issues from Tier I technicians to resolve complex network problems.
  • Analyze detailed alarm data, event logs, and network trends to identify root causes.
  • Provide guidance to field personnel for complex repairs and diagnostics.

Customer and Vendor Coordination:

  • Act as a point of contact for high-priority customer escalations.
  • Collaborate with equipment vendors and internal teams for technical support and advanced troubleshooting.

Network Optimization:

  • Monitor and evaluate network performance to identify and address inefficiencies.
  • Conduct proactive maintenance to prevent service disruptions.

Training and Mentorship:

  • Provide training and technical support to Tier I technicians.
  • Document troubleshooting procedures and share best practices with the team.

System Maintenance and Upgrades:

  • Perform and oversee critical software and hardware upgrades.
  • Validate network configurations and backups for stability and compliance.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's Degree in Telecommunications, Networking, or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in telecommunications or network operations, with direct optical experience.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in advanced troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with a wide range of network equipment and protocols.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
