Skills required:
- In these roles, you will put our unique middleware applications capabilities for DevOps, continuous integration (CI), and cloud-based development consulting projects to use.
- You'll be part of the on-site implementation of Red Hat's.
- As an OpenShift / DevOps Consultant, you will play a key role in our customers' evolution in enterprise development and help make our solutions both practical and workable for their businesses.
- You'll work to gain an understanding of customer infrastructure and business needs, make recommendations that resolve their issues, and help them make strategic decisions.
- You'll then build enterprise applications and capabilities around cloud technologies to streamline development and allow for continuous feature release of applications.
Responsibilities:
- Application development or application modernization or infrastructure
- Application architecture (application servers, integration patterns, microservices, JEE, CI/CD, build management, etc.)
- Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) and container technologies
- Frameworks like Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, or similar and JavaScript
- Communicate value, progress, and metrics of key projects to required stakeholders in both technical and business audience
- Practical experience with Agile methodologies is a major plus
- Architect, design, build, and Red Hat OpenShift operation environment
- Application containerization management
- In-depth best practices developing micro services architectures and Dockers
- Maintain and enhance automation to support setup and provisioning of new projects in OCP
- Maintain environment and tool configurations, such as Jenkins
- RHEL operating system, system configuration, and administration
- Build and manage Docker baseline images for Tomcat, Apache Web Server, WebLogic and JBoss.
- Widen platform for additional Middleware Docker images of OpenShift Docker platform
- Assess the infrastructure capacity needs and configure the application deployment config (DCs) to allocate the resources
- Analyze the readiness of the application to adopt microservices
- Implement and improve continuous integration (CI) and delivery (CD) pipelines
- Manage problem identification, system architecture definition, software specification and design, implementation, testing, customer training, and deployment of opensource solutions
- Work on problems of a diverse scope where analysis of data is required
Experience:
- Minimum 7 years performing above above-referenced duties with the following recent hands-on expertise;
- OpenShift Container Platform, DevOps Middleware, Enterprise Web, CI/CD, Agile, Java/JEE, Red Hat JBoss Fuse, Kubernetes, Docker
- MUST have exceptional communication skills to interface and manage end-user stakeholders and mentor technical and functional users!
- MUST HAVE BS Degree in Computer Science, IS, Engineering, or related field(s)

- Red Hat JBoss Fuse Docker & Kubernetes & Agile: 3 years (Required)
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux: 3 years (Required)
- Active DHS or Secret or TS/SCI Clearance: 1 year (Required)
