Introduction:
We are looking for a Storage Migration Solution Developer to join our team on a 3-6 month contract basis. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in developing block-storage/SAN technologies using C/C++ or Python. The main focus of this role will be to architect and implement an enterprise-grade block-level migration engine for moving volumes from on-premises SAN to AWS EBS and Azure Managed Disks with minimal I/O disruption.
Responsibilities:
- Developing low-level block-I/O paths, SCSI, NVMe, FC/iSCSI stack internals
- Enhancing storage controllers, replication engines, snapshot/clone frameworks
- Understanding volume managers, LUN masking/mapping, multipathing, device discovery
- Working with cross-vendor SAN technologies including NetApp, EMC, HPE, Hitachi, Pure, IBM, etc.
- Writing high-performance storage services, daemons, agents, and filters
- Architecting storage data movers, delta-capture logic, change-block-tracking, cutover mechanisms
- Creating migration workflows for VMs and block devices to cloud
Requirements:
- Strong hands-on development experience in C/C++ or Python
- Proven architecture and solution design background
- Deep expertise in SAN/NAS technologies
- Experience with on-prem NetApp to AWS migrations
- Specifically looking for a Storage Solutions expert, not an infrastructure or systems administration profile
If you meet the above requirements and have experience in storage products, data movers, replication pipelines, or kernel/use, please share your resume with .
