Job Description:
  • The WebMaster/Web Content Lead oversees and manages internal and external web content, digital communication channels, and integrated web applications to ensure alignment with corporate communication strategies and technology roadmaps.
  • This role serves as a subject matter expert, leading content governance, quality assurance, usability, and continuous improvement while guiding junior staff and collaborating with business stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
  • Oversee digital communication channels, mini-sites, and applications to align with corporate communication strategy and technology roadmaps.
  • Collaborate with website developers and content contributors to meet business requirements and identify new opportunities.
  • Maintain and enhance internet and intranet web content and integrated applications.
  • Serve as subject matter expert and coach business units to create consistent, value-driven messaging.
  • Lead change processes for internal and customer-facing web pages.
  • Perform quality assurance and proofreading to ensure accuracy, proper grammar, spelling, style, and accessibility compliance.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to junior staff on website architecture, database design, user interface, and programming requirements.
  • Participate in website design, content development, analytics review, testing, content management, and usability testing.
  • Review web analytics to ensure usability and web design standards are met.
  • Maintain, edit, approve, and publish web content with regular audits.
  • Develop test plans, execute system test cases, and provide feedback.
  • Analyze business needs and recommend effective web solutions.
Experience:
  • Extensive experience in web content management with progressively responsible web project management experience.
Skills:
  • Ability to manage multiple projects independently while keeping stakeholders informed.
  • Strong understanding of how content changes impact related web properties.
  • Ability to communicate technical challenges in a clear, non-technical manner.
  • Proficiency with web content management systems.
  • Strong knowledge of web usability standards and methodologies.
  • Experience with web development tools and coding languages.
  • Experience managing digital media, including web-based video and audio content.
Qualification And Education:
  • Bachelor s degree required or equivalent relevant work experience.
