AI Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client seeking a remote AI Engineer to join their team who is responsible for time series forecasting and price prediction solutions.

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, or a related technical field; PhD preferred; Academic or applied focus on AI, deep learning, or intelligent systems is preferred
* 3-5 years of hands-on experience building and deploying AI solutions
* 4+ years of experience designing, developing, and deploying AI solutions in production environments
* 2-3 years of experience in one or more domains: language model, computer vision, signal processing, generative AI, optimization programming, recommendation systems, or autonomous agents
* 1+ year of experience in agentic AI and/or AI reasoning, Digital Twins, Decision/Prescriptive AI
* Experience with production-grade Python and/or C/C++
* Experience with large-scale software architecture, APIs, and model versioning systems
* Software engineering background and experience in production-grade AI delivery systems
* Proficient in at least one skill in C++/CUDA, Python/PySpark, Java/Scala
* Experience in cloud-native AI tools (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform), DL/LLM/ML frameworks, and AIOps platforms
* Strong in GPU based accelerating computing technologies
* Strong in Graph Theory or Knowledge Graph related architecture and database
* Proficient in model evaluation, distributed training, and hyperparameter optimization
* Proficient in Big Data Theory based large scale data streaming and in-memory database technologies
* Strong in automated workflow technologies and containerization technologies
* Proficiency in model evaluation, distributed training, and hyperparameter optimization
* Familiar with AI/ML lifecycle, model architectures, and structured/unstructured data pipelines
* Understanding of neural networks, deep learning, transformers
* Experience with workflow pipelines and GitHub Actions
* Familiar with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform is a plus
* Experience with GPU technology and performance tuning on GPU servers

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
