Description
TEKsystems is looking for Traveling Network Technicians (Secret or Top Secret required) for a ~10 month project that is slated to start 09/08/2025. A CompTIA Security+ Ce (or another IAT II certification) is required prior to interviewing. The project will be swapping out different networking equipment, including: Cisco Routers + Switches, firewalls, Wireless Access Points (WAPs), etc. The right candidate will have experience/skills with:
This project will be supporting the newly built DoDNET and helping get the agencies ready to migrate prepared for that migration by upgrading outdated equipment across the world. Travel will be mostly CONUS but there is a small chance there will be some OCONUS travel. This is a role where they will be traveling 80-90% of the time, as there are 250-300 sites that 10 teams will have to get to across the country and some sites that sit overseas. An active passport would be a very big nice to have. There also has to be some comfortability with being away from home during the work week for a good portion of the year.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $36.00 - $40.00/hr.

Description

- Decommissioning, configuring, and troubleshooting routers, switches, firewalls
- Racking + stacking servers
- solid oral + written communications skills
