Job Details

POSITION SUMMARY:
Coordinate and manage Salesforce release updates, including sandbox management, change sets, and deployment activities using Gearset or other DevOps / Release Automation tools.

PROJECT INFORMATION:
The DevOps release Engineer is involved in every project requiring Salesforce deployments.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Deploy updates and fixes to production and sandbox environments
Work with developers to perform root cause analysis of production errors and resolve technical issues
Source control management including branching strategies and merge conflict resolution
Design procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance
Document process
Train developers
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
 Excellent communication skills
Experience as a DevOps engineer or in a similar software engineering role
Experience with Salesforce releases using automated tools
Proficiency with Git and GitHub workflows
Branch management
Working knowledge of databases and SQL
Problem-solving attitude
Collaborative team spirit
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience in customer support
Salesforce admin or dev experience
Gearset
Jenkins
DevOps certification
