Medicaid EDI Manager (Mason, OH - Hybrid Role)
We are looking to hire a candidate with the skills sets mentioned and experience for one of our clients within the retail luxury goods and jewelry industry. This is a Hybrid role in Mason, Ohio.
*Candidates who are s and s are eligible to work on W2 highly preferred.
Position Summary:
We are seeking a Medicaid EDI Manager to join the team in a hybrid role based in Mason, OH. The ideal candidate should be experienced in electronic data processing and membership data management, particularly in the healthcare or insurance space and have a strong background in working with AS400 systems, membership data loading and cross-functional communication. Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately load membership data into the AS400 system from various electronic media.
- Coordinate membership data transfers for new plans and plan modifications with internal teams and clients.
- Troubleshoot and resolve membership data issues by collaborating with IT, management, and clients.
- Answer inquiries from client service teams regarding data submission requirements in a timely and professional manner.
- Use Excel, Access, and other PC-based applications to review and verify data accuracy.
- Assist in tracking, loading, and reporting of membership data.
- Recommend process or system improvements to enhance data processing efficiency.
- Deliver high-quality service with a strong focus on teamwork and customer support.
Communication Requirements:
- Internal: Regular written and verbal communication with associates and field management.
- External: Frequent interaction with clients, brokers, software/system providers, and third-party administrators.
- Must demonstrate strong listening skills to fully understand issues and effectively resolve them.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Working knowledge of mainframe systems (AS400 preferred).
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Access, and Word.
- Familiarity with third-party benefits administration.
- Ability to problem-solve and troubleshoot electronic data issues.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task under pressure.
- Customer-service mindset with excellent communication abilities.
- 3 5 years of professional experience, preferably in the insurance or healthcare industry.
- Experience handling electronic media and AS400 systems.
- Hands-on experience with data entry, validation, and troubleshooting.
Other Job Specifications:
- Employment Type: W2 only. NO C2C, NO 1099.
- Contracting Period: 12+ months contract, with potential extensions(Contract-to-Hire role)
- Job Location: Hybrid Mason, Ohio (3 days onsite in office).
- Contract Rate: $50/hr. on W2.
