Job Details

Federal Capture Analyst with a minimum of 4 years of experience in federal capture, business development, or government contracting. This hybrid role (3 days onsite in Ashburn, VA) supports Delviom s expanding federal business pipeline by contributing to opportunity tracking, strategy development, and cross-functional collaboration. As a Capture Analyst, you will work closely with the VP of Business Development, Director of Proposals, Solution Architects, Contracts Team, and external partners to support the full lifecycle of business capture from opportunity identification through award. The ideal candidate has experience engaging with federal civilian agencies, attending industry days, researching competitors and teaming partners, and building actionable capture intelligence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in identifying, shaping, and capturing new business opportunities and supporting re-compete pursuits.
  • Partner with the VP of Business Development to support capture strategy development and execution.
  • Attend industry days, government briefings, and networking events to gather intelligence, build relationships, and assess opportunities.
  • Conduct research and competitive analysis to identify viable opportunities, key incumbents, and potential teaming partners.
  • Build and maintain relationships with federal civilian agencies and industry teaming partners.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with internal teams.
  • Support the development and validation of win themes that align with agency mission needs and Delviom s capabilities.
  • Assist in building and maintaining the pipeline of federal opportunities using tools like SAM.gov, GovWin, and other sources.
  • Monitor and report progress on capture activities to ensure alignment with timeline, budget, and company growth goals.
  • Contribute to collaboration meetings, internal reviews, and documentation of lessons learned.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in federal capture, business development, or government contracting.
  • Demonstrated exposure to federal civilian agencies and understanding of their acquisition strategies.
  • Experience attending industry days, teaming discussions, and performing market intelligence gathering.
  • Working knowledge of RFPs, RFIs, RFQs, and federal procurement vehicles (GWACs, BPAs, IDIQs).
  • Familiarity with tools such as GovWin, SAM.gov, FPDS, and market research databases.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to collaborate across departments in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Experience supporting or coordinating proposal development is a plus.
  • Experience working with small business or 8(a) firms is a bonus.
