Business/Systems Analyst

Our direct client in Stamford, CT is looking to hire a Business/Systems Analyst III with Mobile or Telecommunications experience for a long-term contract position. Need to work a hybrid schedule so four days a week onsite in Stamford, CT. (Monday to Thursday)

Description:

Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates information technology systems operations. Determines user needs and requirements and recommends ways to improve systems. Serves as primary point of contact between users and engineering/development staff. Identifies, documents, reports and tracks system issues. Supports the process of translating business needs into formal technical requirement deliverable. . 5-10 years of experience.

Description of work:
* Assess impacts to the business, through the lens of the agent ordering and supporting the project, and the customer (ordering, support, comms, activation, reduce/limit call volume)
* Write and submit for approval business deliverables (such as but not limited to use cases, requirements, flow charts) for T-Mobile MVNO project
* BA will present and review with VPs from multiple cross-functional teams
* BA will ensure that the business ask is adhered to and met at grooming and through onto development
* BA will work with PMO team to ensure that the project is kept on track and all stakeholders are kept up to date with project status and details

Your Team Overview/ Department:
Plan of Record / Business Integration, we are responsible for handing off business requirement deliverables to IT team to build into their architecture.
Story behind the need/key projects: Due to size and complexity of project, product as sourced funding for a BA in business integration to work in tandem to ensure we meet project needs and deadlines. There are currently 160 product requirements for this project, each of which has to have business impact assessment conducted.
Typical day in the role/task breakdown %:
20% Analysis of business impact
40% use case drafting, flow chart drafting, working with PM team (Business Integration and product side)
40% work with mobile IT team in grooming and development
