Job Details

DAY 1 ONSITE OPPORTUNITY

Description:  

  • Experience Needed 5–7 years in data governance, stewardship, or compliance roles.
  • Experience implementing metadata management/cataloging tools (Collibra, Alation, Apache Atlas).
  • Background in Master Data Management (MDM) initiatives.
  • Familiarity with compliance standards (NIST CSF, IRS Pub 1075, HIPAA, CJIS).
  • Explicit requirement for statistical/data analysis skills to validate quality frameworks.
  • Training in R, Python, or SAS for quantitative validation of data quality.
  • Experience in training/education delivery skills for literacy programs.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Data Management, or related field.

Certifications (Preferred)

  • CDMP – DAMA Certified Data Management Professional
  • DCAM – Data Management Capability Assessment Model
  • CIPP/US or CIPP/E – Certified Information Privacy Professional (U.S. or Europe)

Aptitudes:

  • Detail‑oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Documentation skills: ability to produce stewardship policies, compliance audit reports, and BI readiness documentation.
  • Strong communication skills for stewardship role definition and training.
  • Analytical aptitude for compliance audits and BI readiness.
  • Full command of the English language, both written and verbal, is mandatory.
  • Ability to design and deliver training programs for data literacy and stewardship.

Software Use:

  • SQL Server (constraints, triggers, automated checks).
  • Red‑Gate SQL Monitor (compliance audits).
  • Metadata/cataloging tools (Collibra, Alation, Apache Atlas).
  • Data quality frameworks (Great Expectations, Soda).
  • BI readiness tools (Power BI, Tableau).
  • Statistical analysis tools (R, Python, SAS).
