Job Title: Salesforce Analyst / Administrator

Location: Preferred Bay Area (San Mateo 2x week) | Remote OK, PST preferred but open to EST as well

Contract Type: contract-to-hire

About the Role:

We re undergoing a full lead-to-cash transformation and preparing for a mid-August go-live of Salesforce and Marketo. We're looking for a Salesforce Analyst/Admin contractor to help support the rollout and post-launch hypercare. You ll work closely with internal stakeholders, our SI partner, and a globally distributed team to ensure the success of this critical initiative.

What You ll Do:

  • Support day-to-day administration of Salesforce Sales Cloud, including Opportunity Management and Account-level configuration
  • Configure workflows, validation rules, permission sets, and system settings nearly 100% out-of-the-box (low to no code)
  • Hands-on configuration such as Flows, security models, fields, page layouts, record types, custom settings and dashboard reports
  • Ensure data security and integrity in Salesforce by building and managing profiles and permission sets
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly post go-live, including working closely with the India-based team and SI
  • Collaborate with the Go-to-Market team, project leads, and integration partners to ensure smooth operation and user adoption
  • Work on installing managed packages and managing native connector integrations with other GTM applications
  • Assist with integration between Salesforce and Marketo (experience here is a strong plus)
  • Provide input on business process alignment and user enablement strategies
  • Act as a trusted Salesforce expert with a solid understanding of how system changes affect business workflows

What We re Looking For:

  • 5 10+ years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator or Analyst in enterprise environments
  • Proven experience supporting large-scale SFDC implementations and go-lives
  • Strong business process acumen, especially around lead-to-opportunity and opportunity-to-cash
  • Strong with Sales Cloud and implementing enterprise level GTM solutions
  • Hands-on configuration such as Flows, security models, fields, page layouts, record types, custom settings and dashboard reports
  • Ability to work with offshore teams and system integrators familiarity with managed service models is helpful
  • Marketo and MuleSoft experience is a plus
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment with minimal supervision
  • Based in the U.S.; Bay Area or Pacific Time preferred (onsite 2 days/week in San Mateo if located in the Bay Area)
  • Ideally Certifications: Certified Salesforce Administrator, Salesforce Business Analyst, Salesforce Platform App Builder
