Charlotte, NC (Hybrid)

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Product Owner to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for defining, delivering, and managing the lifecycle of products within a product portfolio. This role involves leading product teams, managing stakeholder relationships, overseeing financial and budgeting processes, and tracking the value of products.

Due to client requirements, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Rate: $40 - $45 / hr. w2

Responsibilities:
  • Define and manage the product roadmap in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Build, groom, and prioritize the product backlog, managing expectations with stakeholders, including senior leadership.
  • Oversee the sprint planning process and participate in all relevant Agile ceremonies.
  • Develop a deep understanding of customer, worker, and user needs.
  • Gather market feedback through user interactions, focus groups, and industry research to inform future development.
  • Write detailed functional specifications, user stories, and product documentation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and analysts, to implement and deliver new products and features.
  • Work with the organization on vision, strategy, tactical execution, and measurement systems.
  • Communicate roadmap stages and timelines with key stakeholders.
  • Engage with stakeholders and end users to understand needs, capture value, and maintain relationships.


Experience Requirements:
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence across all organizational levels.
  • Experience working in an Agile environment with data engineers and data scientists.
  • Experience in a fast-paced environment driven by KPIs, with accountability for meeting goals.
  • Experience in project budgeting, financial tracking, and value/KPI tracking.


Education Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Four (4) years of related work experience.
  • In lieu of a Bachelor's degree, a High School/GED and eight (8) years of related work experience.


Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
