Are you an SAP ABAP HR Developer ready to take your career to the next level?

The Mississippi Department of Finance & Administration (DFA) is on the hunt for a SAP Lead ABAP Developer to join our team and elevate our SAP system support and integration with SuccessFactors. Step into a leadership role and collaborate closely with State resources to evolve and support the Mississippi Accountability System of Government Information and Collaboration (MAGIC) SAP system. Experience with integration? You'll also provide key support for SuccessFactors EC and various third-party systems, making an impactful difference in our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage an ABAP development team.
  • Enhance and support the MAGIC SAP system.
  • Provide integration support for SuccessFactors EC.
  • Collaborate with State resources toward achieving system goals.
Do you have what it takes?

We're looking for someone who meets the following Required Skills/Experience:

  • Minimum of 8 years in ABAP design and development with a strong background in ABAP Object Oriented programming.
  • Functional knowledge in at least three of the following: Finance, Customer Relationship Management, Logistics, Supplier Relationship Management, SROS, MDM, HCM.
  • 4+ years of experience in SAP operational systems for Public Sector clients.
  • 2+ years of experience in training/knowledge sharing with public sector employees.

Additional skills that are Preferred, but Not Required:

  • Experience with State of Mississippi MAGIC system development.
  • 2+ years in SuccessFactors Employee Central Cloud Platform Integration.
  • 2+ years with SAP Process Integration and third-party system migrations.
  • Proficiency in root cause analysis and development activities to resolve system incidents.
