RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Saint Louis, MO that is seeking a Process Control Engineer in on a contract basis.
Summary:
The Process Control Engineer will be tasked with developing and maintaining hardware and software of systems, as well as communicate to real-time applications, models and databases. The Process Control Engineer. The Process Control Engineer will also be tasked with engineering, installing, designing, testing and troubleshooting a family of PLCs.
REQUIREMENTS:
* Must have a Bachelor's degree or 4 years equivalent experience in Computer, Physics, Electrical, or Data Science field
* Must have experience with PLC block and ladder logic programming
* Strong understanding of SCADA and HMI's is required
* Experience with Oracle, Oracle RDB, and Microsoft SQL Server databases is preferred
* Must have experience with .NET or C#
* Must be self-motivated; Must be capable of working independently
* Must be able to problem solve and multitask
* Must have excellent verbal and written communication
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
