Job Details
Resource 1 is seeking a Front-End Developer for a remote 6-month contract position. Selected individual will play a crucial role in designing, developing and implementing user-facing features for web applications. Will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, back-end developers and product managers to deliver high-quality, responsive and intuitive user interfaces.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement user-facing features for web applications using HTML, CSS and JavaScript
- Collaborate with designers to translate design mockups and wireframes into responsive and visually appealing user interfaces
- Optimize web applications for maximum speed and scalability
- Implement best practices for usability and accessibility
- Work closely with back-end developers to integrate front-end components with server-side logic
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in front-end development
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS and JavaScript, with experience in modern frameworks/ libraries such as React, Angular or Vue.js
- Solid understanding of responsive web design principles and cross-browser compatibility
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and code collaboration tools
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment
- Experience with UI/UX design principles and tools (e.g., Adobe XD, Sketch) would be a plus
