Job Details

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Evaluation Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting research on data collection and analytical methods, developing evaluation frameworks, identifying research-based key performance indicators and measures, and providing technical assistance to programs. This role will also involve collaborating with various teams to create a systems change framework and supporting knowledge management efforts. Strong analytical and organizational skills required. Must possess expert level knowledge of MS Excel.

Key responsibilities
Research, identify, and refine relevant, research-based performance indicators and outcome measures.
Work collaboratively with various teams to contribute to the development and implementation of strategic evaluation frameworks
Translate complex data into clear, concise, and actionable insights for diverse audiences (e.g., program staff, leadership, funders, board members).
Support knowledge management efforts, including collaborating with workgroups to create a Sharepoint knowledge hub
Respond to time-sensitive technical assistance requests from various programs

Qualifications and experience
A minimum of five (5) years of progressive professional experience designing, planning, and implementing program monitoring and evaluations activities, preferably within a non-profit or foundation.
Demonstrated experience in developing program frameworks (logic models, theories of change) and identifying meaningful, research-based KPIs and outcome measures.
Strong understanding and proven application of both quantitative and qualitative research and evaluation methodologies, data collection techniques, and analysis.
Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data management, analysis, and visualization.
Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information and draw sound conclusions.
Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

Preferred:
Master's degree in a relevant field (as listed above) with a focus on research methods or program evaluation.
Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
