IT OPERATIONAL SERVICE READINESS COORDINATOR Location: Owings Mills, MD

Contract to hire a role

(Primarily remote they need to come onsite whenever required that can happen in a month 2 or 3 or in 6 months.)

Job Description:
Looking for a IT Service Readiness Coordinator, this person will be working with the project management team, and will be handling , managing and facilitating the project and coordinating with the project management team so it can go live.
This is NOT a project management role, No budget planning etc. is involved, This person will be just coordinating, facilitating, and making sure the Infrastructure team work is done and whatever is needed by the infrastructure team and provided by the project team and that is managed, handled and facilitated by this person.
Looking for someone with some project management experience with IT background who will be just managing project, infrastructure, security, operations support team etc and identify the requirements for the operation support team before the project goes live.
Once any projects comes in this team decides which team to assign and facilitate the project team, PMO and IT operational team and then the project goes live.
JIRA and Service Now experience is good to have( Mostly how to use is helpful as they use within the team for ticking)
Good knowledge of IT system engineering, end users, helpdesk support, work floes, as they will be dealing with multiple projects and team. Someone who worked with app Development team, network infrastructure team etc as they can understand the terminology to coordinate with the different operational infrastructure team
Currently the team has 5 projects they are handling, Infrastructure team, operational team and the actual project team.
PMP and ITIL are preferred though it is not a must (Someone with this knowledge would be great, and they can get them certified once they bring them on board).
This is a hybrid role, however the manager mentioned it as primarily remote and they need to come onsite whenever required that can happen in a month 2 or 3 or in 6 months.
