Job Title: Senior AWS Development Engineer Location: Austin, TX (Full Onsite) Rate: $60/hr on C2C Visa: Any (NO OPT & CPT) Experience: 15+ Years (Mandatory) Client: NEXTURN Immediate Requirement Need Urgent Profiles Job Description We are seeking a Senior AWS Development Engineer / AWS Technical Lead with 15+ years of IT experience and proven expertise in architecting, designing, and delivering enterprise-scale applications on AWS. The ideal candidate will have strong cloud-native architecture skills, hands-on development expertise, and leadership experience guiding engineering teams. This role requires deep knowledge of AI/ML services (SageMaker, Amazon Q, Bedrock, LLMs), strong programming abilities, and the ability to build reliable, secure, and scalable solutions. Key Responsibilities Lead the architecture, design, and development of secure, high-performance AWS-based applications. Define and enforce best practices in design patterns, coding standards, DevOps, and cloud operations. Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable cloud-native architectures. Drive the full SDLC including source control, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and deployments. Mentor and guide distributed engineering teams; conduct design/code reviews. Implement AI/ML solutions leveraging AWS SageMaker, Amazon Q, Bedrock, and LLM/NLP services. Ensure system reliability, scalability, and performance optimization across AWS workloads. Manage cost optimization, monitoring, and governance for AWS environments. Stay updated with emerging AWS technologies and drive adoption of innovative solutions. Required Qualifications 15+ years of IT experience with 7+ years in AWS cloud architecture/engineering. Strong background in system design, architecture patterns, scalability, and reliability engineering. Hands-on expertise with AWS services: EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, CloudFormation/Terraform, IAM. Solid experience in AI/ML technologies: AWS SageMaker, Amazon Q, Bedrock, NLP/LLMs. Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or Node.js. Proven experience as a Technical Lead/Engineering Manager with team leadership and mentoring. Strong knowledge of DevOps practices: CI/CD, Git, Jenkins/GitHub Actions, Infrastructure as Code. Deep understanding of cloud security, compliance, and identity management. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills. Preferred / Nice to Have AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Professional) or AWS Certified Machine Learning Specialty. Prior experience leading cloud migrations or building AI-driven applications. Knowledge of containerization: Docker, Kubernetes, EKS. Exposure to data engineering with AWS Glue, Redshift, EMR.
