Role: IT Control Analyst

Location: Remote

Duration: 2-3 Months (40 hrs per week)

Experience: 6+ years

Job Summary:

• The IT Controls Analyst plays a crucial role in ensuring the integrity, security, and overall operational effectiveness of an organization's IT systems.
• This position is responsible for supporting the development, implementation, and monitoring of IT controls to safeguard assets, ensure data accuracy, and comply with policies and regulations.

Controls Development and Implementation:

• Design and establish IT controls following industry standards and best practices.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure effective IT control environments.

Risk Assessment and Management:

• Conduct risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities within IT systems.
• Collaborate with IT teams to mitigate identified risks and develop action plans.

Compliance and Audit:

• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies.
• Prepare and conduct audits to evaluate the effectiveness of IT controls and report findings.

Continuous Monitoring:

• Implement tools and practices for continuous monitoring of IT systems and controls.
• Analyze data to proactively identify and resolve issues.

Collaboration and Communication:

• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on IT control objectives.
• Communicate effectively about control processes, changes, and improvements to stakeholders.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience with IT control frameworks (e.g., COBIT, NIST, ISO 27001).
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience with audit processes and risk management preferred.
