Job Overview:
We are seeking a Lead AWS DataOps Engineer with deep hands-on coding skills in PySpark and SQL, along with proven leadership experience. This is a highly technical role that requires expertise in AWS-native data services. Candidates with Azure-focused backgrounds will not be considered.
Mandatory Requirements:
Hands-on coding proficiency in PySpark and SQL (live assessments in both interview rounds)
10+ years of professional experience, including leadership of data teams or projects
Strong experience with core AWS services, specifically:
Amazon Redshift
AWS Glue
Amazon S3
AWS DMS (Database Migration Service)
AWS Step Functions
AWS Lambda
Must be able to lead teams, manage deliverables, and work closely with cross-functional stakeholders
Strong communication skills and ability to operate in a hybrid work environment
Important Notes:
Azure-focused candidates will be rejected. The client requires demonstrated experience with AWS-specific technologies.
Candidates must be comfortable with live coding evaluations during interviews.
