D.R. Horton, Inc. is currently looking for a Division IT Support. The right candidate provide computer (hardware and software), internet connectivity and network support, printer, copier, and phone support for the division.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Daily support for users on computer hardware/software, tablets, printers/copiers, desk phones and cell phones, installed and web applications, and internet connectivity issues.
- Act as a liaison with corporate support resources for specific enterprise level applications and other systems.
- Monitor and perform basic troubleshooting of local enterprise resources, such as network and servers.
- Understand the basic components of a network and be able to troubleshoot cabling issues
- Set up systems at new and relocated sales office
- s and construction field offices, including workstations, Internet service and basic network and printing/scanning.
- Coordinate with outside vendors to provide internet service and alarm systems in advance of new office installs
- Instruct users in basic use of standard applications, and field inquiries about procedures. Perform research when necessary.
- Manage hardware inventory, maintain IT areas/gear and perform regular computer/phone replacements by installing programs and migrating data.
- Understand Active Roles (Active Directory) and how user accounts, security groups, distribution groups, shared mailboxes, etc. operate and are used within a company
Qualifications
Education and/or Experience
- Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university
- Two to three years of related experience and/or training
- Must be well versed with personal computers and Android cellphones
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written oral form or via DRH applications
- Proficiency with MS Office and email
- Ability to sit for majority of 8-hour workday; use hands and fingers to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and peripheral vision
- The noise level is generally moderate
Preferred Qualifications
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and attention to detail
- Management/project management experience is a plus
