Job Description
We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager with a strong background in the banking domain, capital markets, risk management, and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years of experience in IT project management and may have previously worked as a business analyst. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent leadership skills and the ability to manage complex projects in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage IT projects, including software development, cloud migration, cybersecurity, and infrastructure projects.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project requirements, objectives, and deliverables.
  • Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
  • Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Identify and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including developers, analysts, and business units.
  • Provide regular updates to senior management and stakeholders on project status and performance.
  • Foster a collaborative and productive team environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in IT project management.
  • Recent experience in the banking domain is essential.
  • Proven experience in capital markets, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
  • Strong understanding of IT architecture, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform), cybersecurity, and data governance.
  • Experience with Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and Waterfall project methodologies.
  • Proficiency in project management tools such as Jira, Trello, and Microsoft Project.
  • Solid background in budgeting, resource management, and vendor negotiations.
  • Knowledge of ITIL, DevOps, SDLC, and CI/CD processes.
  • Strong understanding of business analysis and previous experience as a business analyst is preferred.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is preferred.
