Role: Business Analyst

Location: Houston, TX (Onsite - Only locals)

Duration: 6 months contract

Job Description:

Seeking a Business Systems Analyst to drive requirement gathering, process improvements, and systems efficiency across business units. The role involves analyzing real-time data, creating prototypes, and serving as a thought leader to enhance productivity and integration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Gather and document business/system requirements, ensuring usability and alignment with stakeholder needs.
• Partner with cross-functional teams (Sales, Finance, Security, Compliance, etc.) to analyze, document, and communicate requirements effectively.
• Develop and maintain project management and communication plans.
• Perform quality assurance at all stages of system development.
• Conduct ongoing system/process analysis and deliver regular status reports.
• Author/update internal and external documentation.
• Troubleshoot issues through daily systems analytics.
• Build lasting relationships with partners for smooth systems integration.

Qualifications:

• Technical degree or equivalent work experience.
• Strong experience in analytics and systems development.
• Proficiency in SQL and database management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience creating process documentation and reports.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with Business Objects preferred.
• Knowledge of ITIL Foundations a plus.
