Position: Senior Network Engineer (Data Center)
Location: Laurel, MD
Type: 6-Month Contract-to-Hire (C2H)

Role Summary:
The client is looking for a Senior Network Engineer with 10+ years of enterprise-level experience in Cisco technologies. This expert will design, implement, and manage advanced network solutions across data centers, cloud, and branch environments. The engineer will be part of high-level meetings, so strong communication skills are essential.
Key Skills Required:
- Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE): Access control, AAA, NAC, Zero Trust
- Cisco SD-WAN (Viptela): Topology design, app-based routing, performance tuning
- Data Center Networking: Cisco Nexus, BGP, OSPF, VXLAN
- Catalyst Center (DNA Center): Automation, compliance, health monitoring
- Splunk: Network monitoring, dashboard creation, log analysis
- Certifications: CCNP (required), CCIE/CCDP (preferred)
- Bonus: Scripting with Python/Ansible, knowledge of compliance frameworks (NIST, HIPAA, PCI)
