IT Project Manager (PMP Certification)

Trigyn?s direct client based out of St. Paul, Minnesota has long term contract assignment (12 Months) for an IT Project Manager (Hybrid). The particulars of the opportunity are below:

Roles and Responsibilities:
? Provide leadership and guidance for projects
? Provide strategic vision and thinking with focus on outcomes
? Create clear and attainable project objectives
? Create clear and attainable project requirements
? Manage project constraints of cost, time and scope
? Form close links with team members and stakeholders
? Direct & manage project development from beginning to end
? Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with project sponsors and stakeholders
? Estimate project resource requirements and participants needed to achieve goals including changes where necessary
? Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path
? Establish project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools and tracking such milestones and deliverables
? Manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises or issues, and devise contingency plans as appropriate
? Communicate project plans, expectations, updates, progress, issues, and successes in a timely & clear fashion when necessary
? Manage multiple smaller projects
? Provide knowledge transfer

Required Skills:
? Five (5) years of experience in an IT Project Management role
? Two (2) engagements lasting more than six months in an IT Project Manager role
? Demonstrable leadership ability
? PMP certification.
