What You Will Do
Completes work as a developer using the .NET platform and contributes to aspects of the software development cycle: from design and development, all the way to support and documentation. Participates in the design process of our solutions, providing feedback and technical expertise needed to keep our applications efficient and easy to maintain. Uses software development skills and experience in areas such as Customer Relationship Management (CRM), sales, and member-facing applications like Online Banking. Partners with analysts to ensure accuracy and completeness of requirements documentation for assigned projects. Helps develop technical solutions through collaboration with team members ensuring a full understanding of the requirements. Helps creates technical design, and application functionality documents. Assists in technical design and code reviews to ensure smooth daily operations and accurate planning. Completes any other job-related duties needed to help drive to our Vision, fulfill our Purpose, and abide by our Organization s Values.
What We Will Require
Bachelor s Degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or comparable education and/or experience. Minimum of one (1) year of experience in an information technology role including some experience in systems/software development. Exposure to front-side (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and database (e.g., MySQL, Oracle) tools to create websites from concept to finished product (front-end and back-end). Proficiency in server, network, and hosting environments, relational and non-relational databases, how to interact with APIs, user interface/experience, quality assurance, version control systems, and security. Understanding of Object-oriented programming principles, in addition to C# programming, HTTP, Git and front-end-framework for responsive design (Bootstrap). Able to work in a team environment and meet deadlines. Strong interpersonal, presentation, analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
Ideal Candidate Will Have
Experience with the following programs: .NET Core, Azure DevOps, Angular & TypeScript, Node.js, Sitecore. In addition, to experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) applications and sales related applications. Financial industry experience. Ability to conducts work assignments of increasing complexity, under moderate supervision with some latitude for independent judgment. Must remain current with the latest industry best practices and programming competencies.
Additional Job Responsibilities
Acts as a technical resource throughout the development life cycle. Keeps management appropriately informed of progress and issues. Adheres to and provides input to improve SSFCU methodology and standards as well as industry best practices throughout the software development life cycle to ensure quality of deliverables, thoroughness of documentation and maintainability of solution. Provides technical support on a regular basis for different applications in the event of system outages. Will learn to independently resolve production issues through trouble shooting applications and components.
